Rob Patton Promoted to Executive Vice President of FCEDC

Rob Patton FCEDCFayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert “Rob” S. Patton, Jr., to Executive Vice President. In this senior leadership position, Patton will lead key strategic initiatives while continuing to drive FCEDC’s business attraction efforts.

Patton has extensive experience in directing complex operations in high-pressure settings. A retired U.S. Army Colonel, he has more than 25 years of active-duty experience and deep connections to the local and national military community. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of California and an M.S. in Operational Art and Science from Air University.

Since joining FCEDC in 2020, Patton has worked to reinforce and expand community relations while driving organizational success in key target industries including defense, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and innovative technologies. In 2021, FCEDC generated 106 qualified projects, announcing $205 million in capital investments and more than 800 new jobs.
