​FCEDC was proud to represent Fayetteville and Cumberland County as a Gold Sponsor of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Carolinas Chapter’s fall conference. The event was held Aug. 25-27 in Bluffton, South Carolina, affording FCEDC President and CEO Robert Van Geons and Executive Vice President Rob Patton the opportunity to serve as presenters. They also were able to connect with leading real estate brokers, investors, and developers to promote Fayetteville and Cumberland County as the premier commercial location with an excellent business climate and highly talented workforce.

The conference featured keynote speakers focusing on commercial real estate and economic growth and development topics and offered multiple networking opportunities for attendees. SIOR is the leading global professional office and industrial real estate association. With more than 3,460 members in 42 countries, it represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. FCEDC President and CEO Robert Van Geons has been a longtime member of SIOR and plans to continue putting Fayetteville and Cumberland County at the forefront of regional and international members.
