Our President and CEO, Robert Van Geons, has been named on Business NC’s Power List of Most Influential Leaders for the third year in a row. Every year, the magazine publishes a list of North Carolina private sector leaders with the most influence. According to Business NC, the compilation is “based on nominations, talking with many sources, undertaking considerable research and enjoying years of experience covering North Carolina’s business community from the magazine’s unique statewide perspective” (BusinessNC, 2023). Robert is appreciative of the continuous recognition from Business North Carolina saying, “It’s an honor to be selected for the Power list again this year. Our work has helped attract more than $600 million of investment and 5,000 jobs to Fayetteville and Cumberland County. None of this would be possible without the support of the City, County, our Board of Directors, and the exceptional team I work with.”
