  • Food Service Worker (Ft. Bragg, NC)
    The Food Service Worker is expected to replace glassware, dishes, and silverware and refill condiment containers, as well as wiping and washing tables, countertops, walls, and windows. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area and equipment, along with removing garbage and mopping floors. The Food Service Worker will also use chemical solutions and operate electric dishwashing machines and/or wash glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils by hand.
  • Grounds Laborer (Ft. Bragg, NC)
    The Grounds Laborer is expected to operate weed eaters, edgers, blowers, push mowers, or riding mowers as assigned, as well as perform general grounds maintenance tasks. Other responsibilities include ensuring equipment is used only for approved work and proper maintenance of assigned equipment. The Grounds Laborer should also immediately notify the crew leader and/or supervisor of any safety issues.
  • Employment Development Specialist I (ASL Preferred) (Fayetteville, NC)
    The Employment Development Specialist is expected to focus on providing assistance in choosing, acquiring, and maintaining competitive paid employment that has not been achieved or employment that has been interrupted or intermittent. The EDS works with the Individual Placement and Support team in a collaborative, prompt, and timely manner to maximize motivation, as well as provide assertive engagement and a rapid job search approach for individuals in the model. Candidates must be a Qualified Professional (MH), an Associate Professional (MH), or a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) and have the required experience serving MH/SA population. ASL Certification or Sign Language Interpretation is preferred.
  • Janitor (Fayetteville, NC)
    The Janitor is expected to perform janitorial duties, light maintenance for light bulbs, HVAC filter replacements, HVAC drain lines, and driving as requested by the supervisor for Ames Street Campus and Friendship House. Will also be responsible for ordering supplies for these duties, as well as informing staff of any maintenance issues/concerns. Prior experience with cleaning commercial buildings is preferred.
  • Receptionist (VA Medical Center: Fayetteville, NC)
    The Receptionist is expected to perform duties requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual locations and may include a combination of answering telephones, computer operations, typing, and data entry/processing.
  • Foreman (Ft. Bragg, NC)
    The Foreman is responsible for the work crew assigned. This includes completing the scheduled work in accordance with the contract. The foreman is responsible for the preventive maintenance of the assigned equipment, as well as ensuring the equipment is used in a safe manner and that the assigned crew is provided safety training on the equipment. This is a working position, meaning the Foreman will work along with the assigned work crew performing the various grounds maintenance and landscaping maintenance. The Foreman will provide the transportation for the assigned work crew to and from the office to the work areas.

Starting pay for 1st shift is $8.00 per hour (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
